Do I need a permit for residential electrical work?
Yes for most jobs — panel upgrades, new circuits, and rewires all require a permit under NEC. Simple like-for-like swaps (outlets, switches, fixtures) usually don't. We pull the permit for you as part of every quoted project.

How long does a panel upgrade take?
Most 100A → 200A service upgrades are a single-day job: 6–8 hours of active work plus utility coordination. Power is restored the same evening, and inspection happens within 1–2 business days.

Will you damage my walls during a rewire?
We keep openings to a minimum — typically 4"×4" access holes at fish points and box locations, not full demolition. All holes are cut clean, patched with drywall, sanded, and left paint-ready. Full texture-match and painting is available as an add-on if you'd rather not touch it.

Do you handle the inspection paperwork?
Yes — we file the permit, schedule the inspector, and meet them on-site so you don't have to be there. Once it passes, you get the signed certificate and closed permit for your records, insurance, and future resale.

Can I stay in the house during the work?
For most jobs, yes — power stays live in unaffected rooms and we work zone by zone. Panel upgrades require a 4–6 hour full shutoff that we schedule around your day (usually 8am–2pm). We give you 48 hours' notice so you can plan fridge, medical equipment, and work-from-home needs.

What's covered by the 5-year warranty?
All workmanship — connections, breakers, wiring runs, and any fixtures or devices we supplied. If anything we installed fails or loosens, we come back and fix it at no cost, parts and labor included. Damage from other trades, rodents, storms, or DIY modifications after handover isn't covered.
